Thomas Gibson how 2 . 5 Males Drawn Off a Dharma & Greg Reunion

Jenna Elfman and Thomas Gibson The greatest surprise of Monday night's large 2 . 5 Males season premiere might have been the unpredicted appearance of Dharma & Greg stars Jenna Elfman and Thomas Gibson. While a lot of the episode's secrets had already leaked - in the dying of Charlie Harper towards the funeral appearance of his old female friends - the show handled to help keep the cameos by Elfman and Gibson an entire secret. Works out like Elfman and Gibson were not really in the tape of 2 . 5 Men's season opener. Rather, they shot their cameo days later, and did not get it done before a studio audience. The clip of Elfman and Gibson was later proven to a different audience to be able to record their reaction and laughter - which crowd, which signed a non-disclosure agreement, handled to help keep it quiet. "Nobody appeared to place it available, that was type of nice," Gibson states. 2 . 5 Males executive producer Chuck Lorre seemed to be the creator behind Dharma & Greg, which went on ABC from 1997 to 2002. (Trivia note: It is the first show to feature Lorre's now-famous weekly vanity card messages.) Gibson, who's already an organization CBS player (because the star from the network's lengthy-running drama Criminal Minds), was immediately game towards the idea. "I acquired a phone call and Chuck desired to possess some surprises making a really large splash for that first episode," Gibson states. "I believed it was a very funny idea." This is exactly why, nine years after Dharma & Greg discontinued the environment, Elfman and Gibson - bickering just like a couple which has now been married fifteen years - were one of the guest stars turning up to have a look in the Malibu beach house formerly occupied by Charlie, and today available on the market. John Stamos was another cameo. One hiccup: Dharma & Greg was created by twentieth century Fox TV, while 2 . 5 Males is really a Warner Bros. Television show. Lorre did not secure permission to make use of the figures, but technically he did not have to: Elfman and Gibson never known to one another as "Dharma" or "Greg", plus they were simply charged as special guest looks, without actual character names. "I'm not sure whether it was Dharma and Greg," Gibson states having a wink. "It might have been another couple." But even casual Dharma & Greg audiences most likely acquired around the similar character types. Elfman, for instance, walked lower the steps marveling concerning the home's "feng shui." Then your two start squabbling, Gibson indicates the divorce, and Elfman offers to "take both you and your uptight bourgeois family for everything you have.Inch (Should you recall, the conflict between Dharma's hippy character and Greg's uptight family provided the setting for that show.) So might be Dharma and Greg around the outs? "They actually appear to become getting some issues," Gibson states. "Let me think situations are still OK together, despite the fact that they may have been each and every others' throats there." Gibson states the scene required around an hour to shoot, which he'd an opportunity to meet up with Elfman. "I had not seen her shortly,Inch he states. A lot of the 2 . 5 Males crew once done Dharma & Greg, which designed for another kind of homecoming, he adds. "To find the opportunity to meet up again, for just an hour or so approximately, was awesome. It had been a household reunion along with a great experience for all of us.Inch It has been a great week for Gibson. Besides showing up within the top-ranked 2 . 5 Males episode, Criminal Minds came back because of its seventh season having a roar. The show averaged a powerful 14.a million audiences along with a 4.1 rating within the grown ups 18-49 demographic - a sensational accomplishment for any show so late in the run. "Never underestimate the American public's taste for gore and mayhem and serial murders," quips Gibson. However the star also credited the return of stars Paget Brewster along with a.T. Prepare along with a "new infusion of one'sInch on the program. "It feels as though what we have done to date this year is the best stuff we have ever done," he states. Obviously, following his 2 . 5 Males gig, Gibson confesses he might have been bitten again through the comedy bug. "You cannot substitute the action of making people laugh," he states. "It's certainly something which stars enjoy.Inch Sign up for TV Guide Magazine now!

On Tuesday, NBA star Metta World Peace (formerly Ron Artest), said peace out to the ballroom, taking newcomer to the celebrity competition, professional partner Peta Mergatroyd, out of the game as well. I had a great, great time [It was] awesome, Metta said after learning the news. Metta and Petas dance a cha cha wasnt a hit with the judges on Monday night, although Carrie Anne Inaba did give the Laker points for his style. Now we know who the wild one is gonna be. Youre sort of eccentric, and yet, kind of sexy. It works, she said. Cha chas a sexy dance, and I thought that worked, but it was kind of wrong for all the technical reasons, she added. The elimination news came as a relief to Nancy Grace and Tristan MacManus, and Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke, who were also left until the end of the show to find out they were actually safe. Although his sprightly cha cha helped Chaz Bono make it through to another week with partner Lacey Schwimmer, the activist admitted to co-host Tom Bergeron earlier in the evening that performing last on Monday night created additional pressure. It was hard to watch everybody go and I was rooting for everybody, but in the back of my mind was still, Oh my God! I still have to go do this. So it was nerve wracking, he said. Italian model and television presenter Elisabetta Canalis and partner Val Chmerkovskiy who many thought might be in danger of elimination were surprised to learn they would be back another week after they landed near the bottom of the leaderboard on Monday evening. Their cha cha didnt please the judges, especially Len Goodman, who hated the groups use of a prop a bed in the ballroom. It was just wishful thinking that I tried to portray on the show, Val said on Tuesdays show, reflecting on using the device. I try to get everything out of the way in the first episode. I just wanted to take my shirt off and be in bed, he added. Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic As they say, you cannot unring a bell. Obviously, Castle's "I really like you" did not stop by a candlelight dinner, but as a direct consequence of Beckett being gunned lower with a sniper. So, you will find lots of easy outs, right?"My goals would recognition exactly what we'd completed in the growing season finale and never sweep anything underneath the carpet," creator and executive producer Andrew W. Marlowe informs TVGuide.com. "My intent ended up being to confront all of the problems that we raised and cope with them in ways that ... would be both satisfying to fans in addition to a tiny bit frustrating for those who want Castle and Beckett to obtain back immediately. We have taken their relationship one stage further of complexity. ... [There's] much more meaning within the Beckett and Castle relationship."Which Castle figures made our listing of TV's most sexy crime martial artists?Adds executive producer Laurie Zaks: "When the genie is let from the bottle, it cannot be placed in. Even when it isn't acknowledged vocally, psychologically there's likely to be a positive change.InchIt is in individuals mental and emotional corners from the story that things get a little tricky. For instance: Will Castle even have the ability to see past their own complicity in Beckett's shooting - by extension, the sacrificial dying of former Capt. Roy Montgomery (Ruben Santiago-Hudson) - to maneuver forward inside a relationship together with her?InchIt had been an extremely sobering event for Castle. Certainly he has a way of measuring guilt," Fillion states. "Here is a guy who's not so keen to develop up in the near future. But he's really been spear-heading this analysis. He's been kicking this hornet's nest around, convinced that fixing it'll get him nearer to Beckett. However he's losing buddies, literally. It is going to pressure him to develop up just a little.InchFortress exclusive: Meet Castle and Beckett's new captain! Also standing when it comes to Castle and Beckett's possible love connection is really a reduction in face time, since new Victoria "Iron" Gates (Cent Manley Jerald) has assumed command from the twelfth Precinct and quickly started Castle out."He isn't accustomed to women being around him that are not disarmed by him immediately," Fillion states. "Women love him, so when they do not, he takes it hard. ... She will not provide him half an opportunity. Even if he warrants credit, she'll not create it for him. That actually bothers him, and it will likely be a ongoing fight."However the true obstacle stopping a Castle-Beckett hookup is secrecy, as both Beckett and Castle will have to hide significant information from one another at the outset of the growing season.Fortress exclusive: Star Trek's Michael Dorn is Beckett's shrink"Everybody's got secrets this season,Inch Katic states. "The very first episode type of describes how this next season is going to be directed. It describes inside a really subtle way the way the two figures experience one another and what obstacles they may need to tackle to be able to finally reach one another. I believe it is sweet."Sweet, otherwise immediately satisfying towards the show's ravenous fans. Katic are only able to promise that Beckett, who'll also share some her feelings having a police-mandated shrink (Star Trek: The Following Generation's Michael Dorn) this year, is acting within the interest of her lengthy-term happiness."She's making a grownup decision to not dive into something because she does not wish to spoil it,Inch Katic states. " She's real, adult causes of making the options she makes. ... She cares for him a lot. She's deeply in love with him. She's dated other men, but he's the only real guy she has been deeply in love with."Castle premieres Monday at 10/9c on ABC. Watch a clip in the premiere:

Christina Hendricks Is Up for Playing Wonder Woman

Christina Hendricks wants you to know she'd be perfectly happy to swap that practical gold necklace with the pen (her signature accessory as hyper-efficient office manager Joan on 'Mad Men') for a golden lasso. She's game to play Wonder Woman. Away from her day job on the AMC series, Hendricks' movie career is heating up. She has two films opening this weekend and a third in the can. About the only way it could get hotter is if she were cast as the lead in a superhero franchise. Which is what her 'Drive' director Nicolas Winding Refn would like to do. He's spoken often about how much he'd like to make a Wonder Woman movie and cast the Amazonian Hendricks as the superheroine. Now, Hendricks has finally responded. In an interview with NY Magazine's Vulture blog, she said of Winding Refn's offer, "I think he is such an extraordinary and exceptional director, that if he asked me to do it, I would do it in a heartbeat." In addition to the crime drama 'Drive,' Hendricks stars in the chick flick 'I Don't Know How She Does It,' where she plays a comic best-friend role opposite Sarah Jessica Parker. Her part in 'Drive' isn't large, but she said she lobbied for it anyway because of her admiration for Winding Refn, whose cult hit 'Bronson' so "floored" her that she decided, "I want to work with this guy. I don't care what it is." As for what his vision for Wonder Woman would be, she said, "I can only guess what his version would be. Still, she said, "I would certainly do what Nicolas wanted to do." Winding Refn isn't the first director to try to fit Hendricks into that eagle-adorned bustier. Joss Whedon, who directed her on TV's 'Firefly,' also considered Hendricks for Wonder Woman during his abortive attempt to adapt the DC Comics title into a film. "I'd like to think that Joss would have cast me! I also loved working with Joss," she said. "Hopefully the stars would align [for Wonder Woman]. It would be really fun. It would be cool, wouldn't it? I'd get to kick ass." Hendricks has long wanted to try a role that would let her kick ass. "I always wanted to do a movie where I had to learn kung-fu for three months," she said in an interview last year. "Where if someone made you do it, you could do it." Of course, there's the small catch that Winding Refn isn't actually making a Wonder Woman movie, at least not yet. Warner Bros. hasn't asked him to try, though he has said that he'll get a shot at his dream project if he does well on the upcoming Warners reboot of 'Logan's Run.' "I think someone said to me in a meeting that if I get 'Logan's Run' right, then I'll get 'Wonder Woman, I would certainly do what Nicolas wanted to do, and I can only guess what his version would be " he said last month. In any case, both the Danish director and the redheaded actress are going to be busy for some time. Refn has another drama upcoming with Ryan Gosling ('Only God Forgives') plus 'Run,' while Hendricks has a movie in the can (the comedy 'Struck By Lightning,' which was written by 'Glee' star Chris Colfer) and three more on the horizon, as well as the fifth season of 'Mad Men,' which is currently shooting. Still, the idea of a Hendricks/Winding Refn Wonder Woman movie seems too good to pass up. After all, 'Drive' is poised to vault him onto the A-list. (If it doesn't, 'The Ides of March' might.) And, as she proved with her surprise accordion number on 'Mad Men,' viewers will eagerly watch Hendricks do pretty much anything. How awesome would a Christina Hendricks-Nicolas Winding Refn 'Wonder Woman' be?Awesome.Super awesome!Who?Vote Watch Refn and Gosling discuss 'Drive' in the latest edition of Moviefone's Unscripted. We're guessing his friends try to help him deal with the crisis and only make things worse, but that's pure speculation on our part. {A Very Harold And Kumar 3D Christmas Posters}A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas hits the US on November 4, but doesn't yet have a release date here in the UK. Brett Ratner Apologizes for 'Tower Heist' Epilepsy Joke

Brett Ratner may have a reputation for not caring what he throws up on the movie screen, but that doesn't mean he isn't capable of doing something nice. After the trailer for his upcoming comedy, 'Tower Heist,' debuted several weeks ago, actor Greg Grunberg voiced his opposition to the clip due to a joke about seizures (Grunberg's son suffers from epilepsy). After Ratner heard about the complaint, he reached out to Grunberg, saying that he felt "sincerely bad" about the remark. The director added that he has since asked the studio to remove the joke from the company's marketing campaign. Grunberg accepted Ratner's apology and tweeted that he would no longer boycott 'Tower Heist.'
